How You Can Help

Help the farm

We need your help.  Why should it be important to you?  Because saving Eastleigh Farm means:

  • More than saving the cows

  • More than preserving open space

  • More than teaching our youth the value of farming

Saving Eastleigh Farm is about preserving an entire value system that includes all of the above and more!

This is a rare and unique opportunity to save one of the last farms with 114 acres of open land only 20 miles west of Boston. This property is located just off of the Massachusetts Turnpike situated in the northwest corner of Framingham. It borders the town of Southbough and less than one mile from Sudbury. You will find rolling hills, beautiful pastures, multiple barns, an abundance of green space. This incredible land has been preserved for hundreds of years.

Your donation today will help Eastleigh maintain operations while we work with possible suitors to devise a plan to save the land. A plan that could work for us is a Transfer of Development Rights (TDR). A TDR is a voluntary, incentive-based program that allows landowners to sell development rights from their land to a developer (or other interested party). They can then use these rights to increase the density of development at another designated location. This will help the tax base in Framingham. This solution is in the best interest of our community.
